I know I’m super late to this thread but I have a 1993 k1500 any help would be appreciated and I looked in the glovebox and the third code was AU3 does this mean I have keyless entry or not?
How do you know if your truck originally had keyless entry?

Hey there... I know this is an old thread... I have a 1998 Chevy Silverado K1500 pick up 5.7 with OBD2, automatic transmission
Could you please see if my truck came with key fobs/keyless entry? I bought I used and they didn't have any key fobs...

Check your glove box for the RPO sticker, code AU0 was factory keyless option. No RPO sticker? Jumper pins 4 and 8 of your OBDII port with a piece of wire and see if your locks cycle. If absolutely nothing happens, it is not keyless-equipped.
