hot dam that is one big truck:Whoa:. I dig the wheels in a way I wouldn't expect; Your truck makes mine look tiny. I almost bought a dually before my suburban that had the same topper; I was real into it but sadly that truck was a pile of junk. I cant wait to see more of your truck
Thank you.

A smart man probably would have just bought a suburban in this case, but I'll never claim to be such, and this all really just started out as me thinking one day "Hmm, I want a 4x4 dually to play with." Now its for traveling.

Got the seal installed. Built the side corners, then the bottom edge had a couple indention's, and was a little low also. Decided to just plate all the way across the bottom to bring it up. Used an old aluminum speed limit sign for the metal. They're actually made with pretty good stuff, whatever type it is, as it doesn't bend easy. Sealed, and riveted them in.

Little bump up in that right side, just seen it now. Had to trim around the window opening, but guess I didn't take enough off there. These things are no where close to even and straight. GM just masked it with a window border, and trim. Was trying not to grind any more metal than I had to in the cab. I covered the front, but it still gets everywhere.

I would not really recommend doing this, lol. I mean...its possible, but this was a lot more work than it looks like. And a lot of hours squatting in the back of the cab or topper. This sucked, no fun at all.

Going to redo the material in the back in black, and then insulate the rear of the cab/roof, and cover it in the same. Should blend through fairly decent.

Lol I don't know about that; I went the suburban route and don't claim to be a smart man in any way. I bought my burb because I live in a place that has snow 9 months out of the year and it made more sense for my purposes. but no doubt a obs dually is one of my dream trucks.
