Hello everyone, and thank you in advance for ready and any info.

I have a 1994 k1500 extended cab pickup, i bought a 1993 k1500 suburban as a donor vehicle. The burban has a two or three inch body lift, not sure if it has a suspension lift too, not sure exactly the difference completely. Want to know if it will direct swap onto my pickup?

Also im using the tranny and transfer case from the suburban on my pickup, (truck tranny went out last week). Should be direct plug and play swap?

I know my pickup has 3suburban has 373 gears in rear axle and front diff, and swapping those in later is a direct swap yes?

The transfer case and tranny are the same in both vehicles though correct?

Rear end and front dif should be a direct swap yes, but you have the added bonus of the suburban rear end having the sway bar. You can leave it off, or swap that to your truck and enjoy the added handling if you wish. As for the body lift, I'll wait for someone more experienced to chime in.

All a body lift is, is a bunch of 3" pucks on every body mount location. There is no difference between the pucks. Only thing to worry about is if you have enough pucks to transfer over. Count them up and make sure they aren't cracked. I personally wouldn't reuse them, it's cheap enough to buy a new kit and not worry about those old plastic pucks being damaged. It looks like the suburban is missing the front and rear bumper relocation brackets. You will also need the steering shaft extension off of the Suburban. You'll need to either cut your lower fan shroud or reuse the one on the suburban.

It looks like the suburban has aluminum 2" blocks on the rear axle and cranked torsion keys up front. DO NOT reuse the aluminum blocks, they're not safe to use on a vehicle that big. If you want a suspension lift get a proper 4" or higher, cranked keys ride rougher than ****.

@NickTransmissions can speak better on the year differences in transmissions

They're not strong enough. I've used them before, and when i pulled them back off they were deformed and destroyed. I replaced them with cast iron blocks, but steel would be best.
