Sound deadening double as heat insulation?

I'm getting to the point where I'm thinking of installing some sound deadening in the interiors of both my 97 and the 89 and I was wondering if it could be used as underhood heat insulation or other areas of heat reflection(not exhaust).

Any recommendations?

Restomodair membrane max is 8mm thick, which is 310 mils, i did my tahoe interior in the stuff
