The super 33+ is still some of the best electrical tape available to consumers.
The “cheap” bulk pack stuff I’ll use for temporary holding/marking, then the 33 over top if I’m trying to mimic a factory looking harness.
These are the common Tesa Tapes. Fuzzy stuff for interior and the other for more abrasion and heat resistance (engine bay). Mercedes is one of the manufacturers that uses these.
Than you @Orpedcrow! The looming on the ‘94 and ‘95 is in good shape, just dull and in need of some clean up. The ‘92 is about as brittle as it gets. The real hero under the hood is the 32 year old electrical tape.

If I ever get around to redoing my engine harness, it’ll be a combination of the tesa tape, marine heatshrink and tech-flex braided sleeving.

I've been wondering where to get this higher quality convoluted split loom from. I need to replace the original stuff under the hood of the truck and replace the cheap crap that I used under the hood of the Buick, years ago.
