Cruise went out when I hit the wipers figured it was the stalk. Checked the fuse it was fine, changed it to a new one for a lark. Still don’t work.

Checked the voltages at the cruise plug had no voltage at any of them. Changed the stalk and still no cruise.

If you have no power at the F pin and no power at the A pin and the fuse is good wtf is it?

Every time I loose the cruise control on my 1994 suburban it is one of two things :

1) brake switch under dash getting stuck "on" and causing the cruise control to turn itself off ( check to see if brake lights are on then hose down with WD-40 )

2) in heavy rain , moisture gets inside of cruise control box threw plug opening ( mounted next to wiper motor and above brake booster )

I know it can’t be the module because I’m testing everything else unhooked from the module.

I’m starting to wonder if the ground is the problem.

PS. Everyone with these truck takes out the under hood bulb because they stick on. They are a mercury switch, put the bulb back in and bend it downward so it’s on when the hood is open but when the hood is about 3/4 closed it’s off.

Did you test the brake switch? It's the one most overlook. My wife's Mother , my mil. Took her car to honest garage in town who have serviced her vehicles. Three labor hours later can't fix it sorry. Wife gives me the eyeball. Yes mam right away mam.
Hop over to napa get new brake switch, just install see if it fixes. I'm back!. Well ? Done and ready. I'm the good guy, wife has extra mom credits. " Mil " has to have chat with garage. Oh yeah , she's a retired CEO or chairman. I should feel sorry for them , not really f em. :Big Laugh:
