I would heat the inner bore of the bearing retainer plate with a heat gun. It should enlarge the inner bore enough for you to drive the seal into the bore.

Good question. I looked on both of mine and only saw two clips per bracket. I don't understand why that would be. I'm wondering if I removed one from each hole, but I don't remember. It seems like there is room for three brackets per hole. I'll have to look around some more to see if I can find...
