    Thanks D, although I have replaced the distributor I have not explored the tcc. At least I have a clue. Had a friend put an older scanner on it but. It was to slow to catch the problem. Yep I have no scanner. I’ll research the tcc today.

    1997 5.7 Vortec misfire/stumble

    I have the exact problem, feels like mis (buck) at slight de-cell. Truck runs great other than that. Did you ever figure out what the problem was? I’ve lived with this now since I bought the truck months ago.
