    Cooling System Upgrade/Replacement

That's actually what I run personally in my trucks. I've had pretty good luck with them, and very few warranty returns on them.

    Cooling System Upgrade/Replacement

I work at AutoZone. I HIGHLY recommend against a failsafe thermostat. They are junk. They always fail, and cause issues. I've never had one last more than 6 months.

If you're doing that, have it tuned out. I don't know if there's a way to do a fake signal for Passlock.

Little board? I'm not sure what you're meaning. Got a pic?

Looks like an ignition cylinder and cylinder housing, as well as the ignition switch.

My new project truck: '99 K2500 Suburban

And she's externally back together! Just a couple small things to finish and she can get an alignment and inspection! And a bath. :anitoof:

My new project truck: '99 K2500 Suburban

This whole clust-f started because of the fuel injectors leaking so bad that she was puffing black smoke like teenager's diesel. And I had money from an inheritance, so I went a might bit stupid with buying all kinds of stuff to fix and rehab her a good bit. It was the worst case of scope creep...

Welp, she definitely works! Had to use her to move the parts truck, as it's too wet for anything not 4x4 to do it, and she dropped into 4wd hi, and just did as asked. No hesitation, no fighting. She's back to her old self!

My new project truck: '99 K2500 Suburban

She officially runs, drives, turns and stops! Now I just gotta get her bumper, grille, headlights, alignment, inspection & registration. Then she's officially back on the road!

    '99 c2500 Burb fun

I put a set of KYB Monomax on an E-150 van my grandparents had. And they rode quite well on that big old thing. I consider those my secondary choice. Avoid the KYB GR-2/Excel-G shocks. Those were far worse than my factory original Bilstein shocks. Edit: spelling

My new project truck: '99 K2500 Suburban

Well, it has been almost three years since I last actually drove her, but I feel like I remember the gauge reading lower, more at the 210 mark, or a tick below. Basically where I'm used to everything reading on these trucks. She doesn't act like she has an air bubble or anything.

My new project truck: '99 K2500 Suburban

So, she fires up and idles really good now, but the temp gauge reads well over 215, maybe over 220 when fully warmed, despite the computer logging between 195 & 204. I had to replace the sending unit on the cylinder head, as when trying to install the driver's side exhaust manifold, I dropped it...

OEM fender flares for 92-99 suburban

I thought the Suburban and Tahoe/Yukon flares were taped on on the rear, with lip screws? I know my '99 K3500 the rear flares bolted through the bed side. Fronts I am sure bolt through the fender no matter what.
