    Yes my 91 2500 6 lug had a 4L60 the last year of the 700R4 basically. My 92 2500 6 lug has a NV-4500.

    I do not think so unless a diesel was ordered they got 700r4/4l60/4l60e for automatics and manual I think the options were sm465 5lm60...
