I came across the cloth covered panel, it uses clips.

What year/model was this on? Every one I've ever seen was glued on with some steroid infused glue that requires an air hammer and a blow torch to detach.

Post #19 shows clips. Appears to be a 95-98 interior.

My 99 door panel is laying here in front of me now. My cloth is glued on and gripped like a tick.

I don't know. I bought a door from somebody on craigslist because I had a cab fire which melted everything in my door as well as most of the rest of the truck. The guy I bought it from also gave me the inner metal door panels/window regulators and the outer ones. I think they might be '97 though, since I think I recall seeing stickers with manufacturered date on the inner metal door panel.
