Can anyone help me identify this truck?

In VA, all auto service stations, tire shops, etc have access to the VIN and vehicle info by just inputting the license plate. The digital blanket that is being laid upon us is becoming impossible to avoid, and will not end well for us law abiding commonfolk. Criminals may be evil, but they...

    GMC 8 Lug Center Caps

I stumbled across two GMC 8 lug center caps moving stuff around. They must have been off my 93 K2500 diesel which I put custom wheels on but traded in 30 years ago. Free to one of you guys... just shipping. I'll post pics later. Just want to get it posted so I don't forget.

    New guy from Ohio

LOL... my guess is that cargo light only works if the interior lights are on. Either by dialing up the dimmer, or opening a door. When I'm thanking a trucker for flashing his lights and letting me back in, I turn on the cargo light and then bump the dimmer dial up a few times to flash him some...

    Torsion bar swap and crank

:) LOL... noooo, I've got 255/85r16's (32" on truck) on stock steelies on the dually... they are an 80 psi tire. I am getting some 34's mounted on 8 lug 20's this week though. I have been thinking about what psi they will end up at, but they are on a K2500 burb. They are also an 80 psi tire...

    Torsion bar swap and crank

That's a hard tire. I can believe it rides like a wagon! I'd start there. Different tires of course, but I run 55 psi up front and 70 in rear on a dually But I am curious to see what people say about the TB switch

    Torsion bar swap and crank

I'd focus on softening up the rear first, lose some leafs (leaves?) and use helper bags and/or timbren bump stops for loads. Are your tires actually 33" measured on the truck, or was that the advertised size? Do you have a lift on it? Also, what tire pressures are you running? edit: I went thru...

    My '95 RCLB C1500

Love this build, and that shop. If you don't mind me asking, what is the backstory on those 3+1 rear leafs? I've been seeing them throughout your build, but had assumed they were on there to knock a few inches off the rear and soften up the ride a bit. But it doesn't look like that is the case...

    1999 C3500 CC DRW Build

Sooooo... excuse my ignorance. I just don't pay much attention to anything built this century. What seats/console are those? That's a proper sized console for a big truck.

    Mirrors for my truck?

Nice truck!! With those wheels I don't think the stainless dumbos would look too bad. If staying with standard style, cover the mirror in painter's tape and spray paint them body blue. If you don't like it, spray them gray. Then you can take the tape off and have them done professionally once...

Sway bar link angle and popping noises..etc

I'm not saying that the problem is the attachment, just that a gear box issue doesn't necessarily transfer to the steering wheel.

Sway bar link angle and popping noises..etc

In my opinion, the issue is at the steering gear box. I chased a higher speed wobble for a while once on a suburban. Once discovered, it boggled my mind that the gear box attachment to the frame (rust) was the source because it never transferred to the steering wheel end of the equation. It only...

    Mirrors for my truck?

I think those were internet photos just to illustrate the mirror style. That area code is in virginia, the poster is in Iowa, and hasn't been on here in over a year. LMC and Classic Industries both have them. I've got them on a few trucks. The shaking is not bad, but make sure to check for any...

    Free to me GMC 2500

Sure it does, but the clothing made from permethrin-impregnated cloth lasts for 70 washings which is longer than my outdoor clothes last. I don't have to wait until I'm getting bit again to then treat my entire summer wardrobe over and over again. I just don't have to deal with it at all. My...

    Free to me GMC 2500

I don't hear much buzzing. I take the cap off every now and again to hose my head down or whatever and always take a moment to enjoy watching them struggle their precious little hearts out. It's actually amazing how fast the local population takes a nose dive, or learn to avoid me altogether...
