    3/4 Ton of fun - ‘95 Sierra

Looking closer at this an the "after" measurements, do you like how the truck currently drives? I imagine it probably has a slight pull though. I don't remember seeing but did you remove the knockouts from the upper arms? On a lowered truck you can throw the stock alignment specs out the window...

Toe an go is all most places want to do anymore. Most new cars are only adjustable on toe from the factory. I finally found a shop again that will take the time an do it right bit it runs $140 an he's almost an hour away. Worth it though for getting what you want/pay for.

Parking brake is also based off the inital setup of the shoes though, so if they are too far out adjusting the PB cable won't really help regular pedal feel. Setting my shoes tighter helped pedal feel an made the parking brake better since they were farther out already. I think it was another...

Doubt it, I'll probably just convert the lighter plugs to USB. It already has USB under the lid but I believe they just were for the radio.

My guess is they were just to far out to work properly? I set them up mostly how the manual said but I probably didn't run them out far enough to start with to center them an then back off. I haven't driven it yet but I did back up a bunch trying to get them to adjust last week. All that is new...

800s have a proportion valve before the abs unit under the master with some nice braided stainless lines to it. I'd grab all that from your donor too. Ditch the abs all together an enjoy....

Should be a plug you can remove, or a slug that needs knocked out of no one ever did it.

I doubt my abs or master was bad now. The proportion valve is supposed to build pressure in the rear first then send it to the front while also not locking the rears. So if they don't figure it out, I'd try blocking the rear an see if you get a good pedal. I guess the combo valve on the side of...

Got it feeling much better today. I decided to test the master by clamping the rear hose off. After about 3 pumps of the pedal it was awesome and very firm feeling, couldnt get it pushed close to the floor. Remove the clamp an back to spongy an to the floor almost immediately. So I tore the...

That's not it. Been doing some reading here an other places this week. Clamped off my rear line an after a few pumps I had an awesome pedal. Tore the rear back apart, ran the shoes out till I could hear them slighty drag an it's pretty decent now. Not squarebody level, but definitely better...

Max setting triggers the recirculation door, which is up behind the blower motor. That is your problem actuator.

I have an Xtool D7 that did the abs procedure on my 99 3500. Didn't help my problem but it did cycle the pump an everything just like the videos showed with a tech2.

Don't know how I missed this thread but just got caught up on it. Awesome build man, hate to see the struggles you've had an I know how it feels! You're doing good work though so don't let the struggles make you question your work or decisions. I know sometimes I need to hear that myself when...

60/90/120 whatever  So today's fun was replacing the brake master. I wasn't happy with the pedal feel an I really thought the master was bad. It was very mushy an was nearly on the floor when you got stopped. When I had it aligned the tech said he thought my Right caliper was...

Ya they didn't say not to use the factory ones and only provided the big ones. The adapters have the conical seat and are pretty tight to the hub. Idk if they are 60* or not but seems to be working fine....
