    Yeah one reason i'd like the 8' is so i can get a good slide in camper. Most of the ones i've seen are for that size. You can get away with a bigger camper on the 6.5' however you'd have to put the tailgate down and all that.

    Yeah it wasn't cheap. I'd be fine with another 6.5' bed, however if i found a nice LBZ with an 8' then i'd most likely go for it.

    Ended up renting a truck from my job. Drives nice, tows great but too big and bulky, and the tailgate is an absolute joke....i couldn't even open it from the outside.

    After getting screwed over by like 3 people, i finally found a camper shell. And bonus, it comes with this cool bed set up, so i don't have to spend extra time, or spending money in wood, carpet and hardware etc. Just needs a little tlc and cleaning and it'll be ready to go!

    Pretty much, with the exception of more garage stuff that didn't fit. We have a house with a downstairs (where I stay) that has a full kitchen, living room/dining room, bedroom and bath. Long Island is super expensive, so it only made sense to stay with family. No shame at all, it saved me more...
