Well it’s been almost two weeks, but we got back to work today for a few hours. We got the final cleaning done on the block and sprayed it down with wd. Then we chased all the threads and installed the freeze plugs and most of the oil galley plugs. I have to pick up a couple more tomorrow. Next...- SNCTMPL

I got the heads all finished this weekend. I know enough about porting heads, to know that I would probably hurt flow if I tried anything fancy. I worked on blending the ridges that the machining left right below the valve seats. On the exhaust I used a carbide burr bit and an 80 grit roll cartridge. On the intake just the 80 grit.
