Test the coolant temp sensor. If it's got too much resistance the computer thinks it is much cooler than it is and gives too much fuel at startup leading to long crank times. The clamp/pressure drop is puzzling but it may be a dribbling injector. prime the pump a few times and see if any of the...
Check for damaged wiring.
if the transfer case is the same one as before the swap, it won't know you changer the trans.
You just need to look at what changed during the swap.
I did the opposite conversion on Frank. Very good glass-lens headlights are expensive and aren't much better than the quads.
Eventually I will install 60mm Hella projector headlights in Frank.
In a perfect world the sway bar attachments would be parallel to the ground @ ride height.
In the real world try to get it close.
Most people overtighten the end links.
The end link bolt/nut should be tightened just enough to make the bushing bulge enough to match the washer diameter. That is...
I have them on Frank. Someone here commented on them giving a "more informed ride".
I agree. You can feel the little bumps like tar strips but they cushion the big hits like potholes well.
If the transmission's release bearing tube is worn it can cause those symptoms.
The tube needs to be smooth or the release bearing can bind on the tube
I have the Dodge "Elephant Ear" Towing mirrors on Frank and I like them but he's a dually.
I have no idea what tomfoolery they used to put them on but if it's like everything else the previous owner did it's prolly roof mastic, booger welds, and wallpaper paste holding them on. I've been afraid...
I like to leave the pre-luber in place when installing the engine so I can't damage the distributor cap. I run the pre-luber with the air drill while I spin the engine over slowly with the alternator nut 2 full revolutions and then put the distributor in after.
Frank has the Dodge "Elephant Ears" tow mirrors. They are always in Trailer Deploy Mode because Frank's got a big butt. Sucks going through the ATM but if the mirrors fit the fenders will too even when folded in.
When I switch the doors out they are going right back on!
